This is one of the best safaris in Corbett. Gypsy driver Harender deserves special mention for his patience and cooperation. He tried his best to explain the ecosystem of the jungle. It’s not always about tiger at Corbett, when you have a good guide the whole forest is appealing.

Great experience! We did both a morning and an evening jeep safari, for which we had a private driver and a private guide for the two of us. The driver was very polite and on time and the guide was very knowledgeable. The park itself is mainly left natural besides a few trails and ranger camps. Unfortunately we didn’t see any tigers, but we did spot an abundance of other wildlife like elephants, 3 species of deer, monkeys and many bird species, among which the smyrna kingfisher. I recommend to book the safaris well ahead as they tend to sell out pretty fast.

We booked two safaris at Corbett in two different zones and were very impressed by how everything was organized. Both days our driver arrived at the hotel perfectly in time and the safaris were a solid 3 hours in the park with just the two of us in a Jeep together with the driver and guide. We additionally got very lucky with seeing a tiger on our first Safari, so can highly recommend! One tip: be sure to put on very warm clothes if you go for a morning Safari!
